Cascade Hills Worship is composed of volunteers passionately using their talents to lead our church in worship each weekend! If you call Cascade Hills Church home, we would love for you to try out for our team if the Lord has blessed you with the talents as a drummer, guitarist, keyboardist, pianist, vocalist, or another instrument. Cascade Hills Worship has a high level of commitment requiring its volunteers to play all services on the weekend one is scheduled. We meet on Saturday at 2:00pm to begin sounds check and rehearsal for our Saturday 5pm service. We meet at 8am on Sundays for run throughs before our 9am and 11am service.

Application Entry

The below statements are for the protection of all volunteers who come into contact with minors. A minor is defined as anyone under the age of eighteen. Although these are written within the Student Ministries handbook, we want to make sure you are aware of what you need to know and how to handle certain situations that may arise while interacting with minors at any Cascade Hills campus or function.

1. I will not enter an empty room with a minor by myself.

2. I will not offer medication to any minor except in emergency situations.

3. I will not take photos/videos of any minor.

4. I will not allow a minor to use my phone to look at photos/videos or use the internet other than emergency situations to make a phone call.

5. I will wait outside of the restroom while a minor is inside. If a minor needs assistance I will follow these procedures:

No men should go inside the girl’s bathroom and no women should go inside the boy’s bathroom.
Hold the door open and attempt to walk the minor through help from the door.
If the minor is unable to solve the problem themselves, from the door, let the minor know you will get someone to help. Use your radio to call and have staff get in contact with the parent OR for one of the Preschool paid workers to come and assist.
Never attempt to assist a lone child by yourself.

6. Under no circumstances will I touch a minor in their private areas: genital area，bottom，stomach，or chest.

7. I will not adjust a minor’s clothing. If a minor’s clothing needs to be adjusted I will offer a verbal prompt on what the minor needs to do to make an adjustment.

8. If a minor runs to you for a hug then use the “catch and release” method. Quickly give a hug and release them from the hug gently. Side hugs are most appropriate.

9. I will not pick up and hold a minor over the age of two.

10. I will not offer piggy back rides to a minor.

11. I will not allow a minor to sit in my lap. If a minor tries to climb into my lap，I will gently place the minor back on their own seat.

12. I will report to church staff any conversations with a minor that involve abuse and/or self-harming situations.
